Yes Enuff z Nuff are a great band think they are one of the most underrated bands about, they write great songs that are really catchy. Like those 2 albums as well [have all of them] and I think Animals with human intelligance is a very underrated album. Saw them at the Underworld end of march which is why ? has been on my stereo a lot.

Is there a Cheap Trick song called 'Cheapest Trick'? I don't know, but I know there a a couple of massive Cheap Trick fans in Planet Of Women so maybe one of them will let us know?
The song in question is by UK punk 'n' rollers Any Given Day. Dunno if it's cover - it doesn't say so on the CD

But... from what I might vaguely remember, Any Given Day are big fans of The Wildhearts, and Ginger is such a big CT fan that he put the line "...the cheapest trick of all..." into his tribute song, so I'm --guessing-- that this might have been the influence. Might be best to ask Any Given Day themselves?

That's how I met them - at the TotalRock studio when I guested with A.Product, Clare, and Any Given Day on TotalRock one night....

Don't remember there being a Roolette called 'Blokey', but by a strange coincidence I'll be meeting them in Oxford St tomorrow/tonight too when they play at Metro. Now playing in Dark Towers: Hurricane Party - 'Roadstar'. I saw them at The Garage tonight.

I met 'blokey' AKA Ed at their gig at Metro tonight - he said you had a very interesting conversation in HMV. The new Roolettes lineup is a great improvement. They are supporting Electric Eel Shock at The Barfly soon - should be fun! ;D

I'm going to gigs Thurday, Friday, and Saturday - then two gigs on Bank Holiday monday. Electric Eeel Shock are playing two nights at the Barfly - I should be going on the night The Roolettes are supporting. Back on topic: Now playing - The Darkness - 'Growing On Me' on TotalRock. They played 'Waking Up The Neighbourhood' earlier too! ;D

I wish I was asleep - haven't had time for much of that this week... Now playing in Dark Towers: The BellRays - 'Testify' They were great at the Barfly tonight - if Planet Of Women are like Janis Joplin fronting AC/DC or Led Zep, then the BellRays are like Aretha Frankin fronting The Stooges!
